I was raised in the East Bay Area, specifically Alameda and Oakland, and have spent my entire life surrounded by the unique character and solid construction of Alameda’s Victorian homes. This early exposure sparked my interest in real estate.
Naturally entrepreneurial, I obtained my real estate sales license in 2005 after becoming pregnant with my first child. I then started working closely with my mentor, a real estate broker in Oakland. She later launched a staging company, where I took on the role of designer. We ran the business for about three years before she decided to focus on sales and closed the company. I transitioned back to supporting roles, collaborating with stagers and contractors, and rediscovered my passion for creativity and design.
Through this work, I gained valuable experience observing stagers as they worked with agents and their assistants (like me at the time). I watched them conduct walk-throughs, offering suggestions on preparation for sale, such as paint colors and cabinet hardware. I also studied contracts and client interactions, and analyzed numerous staged homes, paying close attention to the styles I admired. Inadvertently, I became a student of the stagers.
My love for design and my entrepreneurial spirit eventually led me to establish ALLURE Home Staging. Now, I serve as the Lead Stager for The Badger Real Estate Group, where I bring my expertise and creative vision to every project.
